Newt is GQ
I don't normally get my political news from men's magazines. But on my way back from San Antonio, I picked up the current GQ and found a very interesting article about Newt in it. Here are a few interesting exceprts:"...Newt had some of it -- okay a lot of it -- right." (GQ on the Republican Revolution).
"Back in 1978, he had this to say to a group of Georgia partisans: 'I think that one of the great problems we have in the Republican Party is that we don't encourage you to be nasty."
"The Clintons are never far from Newt's mind. They're like the Kennedy's were to Nixon."
"To fight a Clinton, a gladitor is required. Someone with big ideas, who sees that politics, in the words of Mao Tse-tung, 'is war without blood."
