If You Repeat Something Often Enough

The German government will start their largest public service announcement campaign in January. What will they target: smoking, drugs, drunk drivers? Nope. Their target: public gloom. More about this here.

The government hopes that by airing upbeat ads with the theme "You are Germany," the 70% rise in depression among its people will turn around. With that, the hope is that downward trends the economy, government trust, and consumer confidence will likewise be reversed.
